Thank You

It is hard to believe that September is upon us and that our first Family Support Fund raiser is less then a 3 weeks away. We are all eagerly preparing for what should be a great party in the park. Since our last post we have learned that Sal DiFusco and his son will be playing live music for us during our First Annual Walk "N" Roll. We all want to extend a GIANT thank you to him and his family for all the time and planning that they have put into this event. His parents have been attending weekly meetings for the past 4 months and we just want to say how thankful we are to have them in our family meetings. We also want to thank Lynn Kehoe for her determination and dedication in ensuring that people with developmental disabilities receive the services that they deserve. She has brought many wonderful ideas to the table for the Walk "N" Roll and we just want to say Thank You to her for her incredible enthusiasm! Now since we are on the subject of thanking people I also want to mention several of our board members, Ann Kirby, Kathleen Houghton and John Wheeler. They have all been quick to help wherever and whenever they can and have devoted a lot of their precious time to our weekly meetings discussing the details and planning of our event. We also want to thank everyone who has donated raffle items and baskets to our event. We have some great items for our raffle including a laptop computer thanks to Jeff our computer consultant at WSC. Pleaese stay tuned for more details regarding our event and raffle items.
